Chi Chi teaches her quilting designs regularly in Western Canada. 

A popular instructor at the Saskatchewan Stitches Conference, she always enjoys sharing her methods, designs, and ideas for stress-free sewing and quilting.  Join her for an enjoyable learning experience.

CLASS:  MACHING QUILTING: CREATIVE AND FREE MOTION AND HOW TO QUILT A LARGE QUILT ON A REGULAR MACHINE

DESCRIPTION:  You may have taken some machine quilting classes before, but if you find it difficult to machine quilt a large quilt, this class will help you simplify the job! You will learn and practice lovely free motion designs that Chi Chi will provide.  Chi Chi will demonstrate the way she easily quilts a large quilt on her machine. You will receive pages of information on the needles and thread to use and how to solve the many problems that come up when machine quilting!  Take home pages of quilting designs so you can refer to these designs at home.  A very informative class and one that will be helpful for years of quilting.

CLASS:  THE FINE ART OF FREE MOTION QUILTING

DESCRIPTION:  A new look for Free Motion Quilting.  Beautiful and intricate designs to solve many of the problems of what to quilt where!  A wonderful way to add a distinctive touch and accent that special area on your quilt.  Learn many of the designs in class and quilt samples to take home for future reference. Use these designs and techniques when quilting backgrounds, borders, table runners, and mats, jackets, hangings, and pillow tops as well.  Chi Chi’s Free Motion Quilting book will be available for purchase at this class only.  Make your quilting projects absolutely fantastic and learn unique skills. 

CLASS: MACHINE APPLIQUE´
DATE: Sun., May 30 OR Thurs. June 3 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
COST:  $75.00
DESCRIPTION:  Many quilts have appliqué elements and there are many different techniques that can be used.  Learn easy effective appliqué methods from the master.  Chi chi always makes what looks difficult easy.  She will show you how to do all of her easy techniques in this class including her easy turn method, a variety of fusible appliqué and finishing techniques, and her new free motion and raised appliqué.  You can work on any of Chi Chi’s appliqué patterns in this class including her new Snail Trail or you may work on samples of the all the appliqué methods that she will teach.

CLASS:  QUILT WITH CHI CHI
DATE:  Tues., and Wed., June 1 and 2 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
COST:  $75.00 per day
DESCRIPTION:  Join this master quilter and work on either her Bargello or Floral Chain design.  See how easy these complicated looking designs go together. You will learn many quick and easy tricks that will make all your quilting faster and easier.  Chi Chi’s creative genius has given Bargello a whole new look with the use of 45 different colours to create this quilt is part of the magic.  The floral chain is an easy chain pieced block that can be done in a wide range of fabrics to get the look that suits you.  Kits will be available and some prep work is required.
