Join us for this series of virtual embroidery classes that will help you to get to know your embroidery machine better. Learn about hooping stabilizers, threads and more as well as sewing and quilting techniques and skills while making a fun project. Class fee includes instruction and embroidery designs and a supply list will be provided upon registration. All machine brands welcome.

This class will introduce you to the world of Crochet. You will learn how to hold a hook, and read a pattern. The basic stitches will be taught in this class while working on small samples, all supplies included.

Claimed by experts to be as relaxing as yoga, knitting is today's hottest hobby. Don't be left out, join us and learn to knit or improve your knitting skills. We will cover all the basic skills, including knit and purl, casting on and off, increasing and decreasing pattern reading and fixing mistakes. You will learn every thing you need to know to start a project. All supplies are included. Both morning and evening sessions available.

Join Melissa Marginet for this virtual class and create a beautiful and interesting 18" x 18" art quilt using four fat quarters that weave into each other using a quilt as you go method. Instructions will be provided to make either a tote bag or cushion with your Interwoven art, or you can just bind it and display it proudly. Supply list will be provided when regisitered.

If you need relationship counseling with your machine, then this class is for you. Learn what your sewing machine is trying to tell you and also how to tell it what you want. Unravel the mystery of tension, learn light maintenance, and understand the importance of the right foot. Get closer to your machine and spend more time focused on your sewing, less time frustrated. Together we will address tension, feeding of fabric, needle and thread choices and do some fancy footwork! This class is based on Bernie's book You and Your Sewing Machine and a copy in class would make a great resource.

Do you feel like you're having a communication problem with your serger? Yesterday it was behaving and today it's not! Maybe this relationship needs some counselling? Let Bernie be your facilitator to guide you to a better understanding of this sometimes vexing but valuable tool in your sewing room. Learn how to trouble shoot and to understand what it is telling you when it balks at a task. This is a fun, information-filled class where you will learn how to take control and rid yourself of frustration. We will cover basic maintenance and techniques that will have you using your serger with renewed confidence!
